The year 2013 is nearing its end, so is the media player WINAMP, on December 20, 2013. WINAMP was the most popular player playing mp3 files in the late 90s . Creating skins and downloading and uploading the skin was very popular during the Winamp era. Later, it was updated with the equalizer option which allowed  people to bring in changes to the sound files they played. However, the introduction of online streaming players and many more new players with multitasking limited WINAMP to just a mp3 player even though WINAMP has been updated to use in Android OS. Also, its parent company, Nullsoft, was acquired by AOL in 1999. Shutting down of WINAMP on December 20, 2013 would also include the shutting down of its website http://www.winamp.com/.

Today's Milma tomorrows ENDOSULFAN

Adulteration is common these days and the authorities are not taking necessary actions to prevent it. According to the latest reports, Milma Milk contains reconstituted skimmed milk powder. Milma milk sachets which come with the description "Fresh & Pure" do not contain fresh milk anymore. Therefore, Kerala High Court has asked Milma to remove the description 'Fresh and Pure' from its sachets and to indicate on the packet that it contains skimmed milk powder.  However, it is a fact to ponder upon whether this can really act as a solution to the problem.  Adulteration, if not now, can lead to serious health issues in the future. Such issues have occurred in prior years too. In the 2008 Chinese milk scandal, where higher protein content was reported along with the presence of melamine adulterant in Sanlu infant formula, due to which thousands became ill, and some children died, after consuming the product. Also, in August 2013,botulism-causing bacteria was detected in whey-protein in  milk powder imports from New Zealand. Therefore, we can't really predict whether not taking actions at the right time can make this similar to ENDOSULFAN in future. In order to avoid such incidents from happening in Kerala, it would be better if the authorities took action to ban Milma, so that thousands of lives would be saved.

The first two creative are created before this ad with lots of Photoshop manipulation but the creative done by Kerala Tourism is just a PHOTOGRAPH and there is no Photoshop image manipulation in that creative. In the first approach lots of people think that its a copy but the real truth is that its a PHOTOGRAPH of Allapuzha backwater and full credits goes the Creative agency of Kerala Tourism, ie Stark Communication, Trivandrum
